These photos were taken on the train from Hualien to Taitung. From Taitung, we hired a driver to take us to Kenting, in the southernmost part of Taiwan. That was a 3 1/2 hour drive through a ridiculously winding mountain road.. needless to say, I won't be going to Kenting that way again. But the train to Taitung was beautiful. We had almost the entire car to ourselves. Only two other passengers. So I could move around and take photos through the window.
